A Facebook Reels downloader that saves clean MP4s

SnapSave is a free Facebook Reels downloader that saves public Reels as clean MP4 files with no watermark. Paste a public Reel link into the box at the top of this page, pick a quality, and download. No app, no account, and nothing added to the video.

Facebook Reels are the short, vertical clips that play full-screen in the app. They scroll by fast and there’s no save button, so SnapSave lets you keep the ones you like. Paste the Reel link and the downloader pulls the original MP4 from Facebook at the best quality available, with no logo stamped over it.

It works with public Reels, the ones anyone can open without logging in. Save your own Reels, public-domain clips, or content you have permission to download, for offline viewing or to re-edit.

How it works

How to download a Facebook Reel in three steps

From the Reel link to a saved MP4 in under a minute, with nothing to install.

Step 01

Copy the Reel link

On the Reel, tap Share and choose Copy link. On a computer, copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.

Step 02

Paste it into SnapSave

Drop the link into the box at the top of this page and press Download. SnapSave reads the Reel and shows the quality on offer.

Step 03

Download, watermark-free

Pick your quality and the MP4 saves straight to your device, clean, with no logo added.

What you can save

Save Facebook Reels without a watermark

Clean MP4s, the audio on its own, or the rest of Facebook, all from one paste.

Reels → MP4, no watermark

Save a Facebook Reel as a clean vertical MP4 at the sharpest quality available, with no logo or overlay, ready to re-edit or repost.

Reel audio → MP3

Only after the sound or song from a Reel? Save the audio on its own as an MP3 to listen offline.

Stories, Watch & more

Need a Story, a Watch show or a normal post instead? The matching SnapSave tools cover every Facebook video type.

Private by design

We don’t log your links or keep your files

SnapSave has no account to sign into, no history of what you’ve saved, and no copy of your Reel left on a server. The Facebook Reels downloader is anonymous to use.

Your link is read from Facebook’s own servers and the MP4 is handed to your device, then it’s gone. No upload step, nothing parked on a disk, and no log tied to you.

No account, no history, no stored files. Your link is used only to prepare the download and is discarded the moment it completes.

Tips

Get a clean Reel download every time

Most Reels save on the first try. A couple of habits help with the rest.

Copy the link from the Reel itself

Use Share, Copy link on the Reel. A link copied from the feed preview or a forwarded message can redirect and won’t resolve.

The file comes down clean

SnapSave saves the Reel with no watermark, so what you get is the video as it was posted, ready to edit or share.

HD depends on the upload

SnapSave offers the sharpest version Facebook holds, but it can’t go past the quality the Reel was uploaded in.

Public Reels only

SnapSave saves Reels that are public on Facebook. A Reel that needs a login or is restricted stays off-limits, by design.

If a download stalls, refresh and retry

A dropped connection happens. Reload the page, paste the Reel link again, and most stalled downloads finish on the second go. Nothing half-finished is kept, so a retry is always safe.

Where we draw the line

What SnapSave won’t do

Public Reels only, and a few things stay off the table on purpose.

Touch private or restricted Reels

SnapSave only fetches Reels that are public on Facebook. Anything behind a login or a restriction stays off-limits.

Bulk-rip a creator’s whole Reels feed

Each download is one paste of one public Reel, not an automated scraper.

Keep your downloads

The file goes from Facebook to your device. Nothing is stored on our side.

Ask for your Facebook password

SnapSave never needs your login or your account.

Add tracking or a watermark

You get the original Reel, unaltered, with nothing inserted.

Help you reuse content you don’t own

Saving someone else’s Reel to republish or sell, without permission, isn’t what this is for. Keep it to your own clips, public-domain content, or Reels you’re allowed to save.
